Introducing this magnificent Roberts full keel schooner built from GRP and launched in 1996!

This exceptional vessel, measuring 17.8 meters on deck and approximately 21 meters LOA, was designed by Bruce Roberts and outfitted with the goal of providing an unparalleled sailing experience for safe and trouble-free circumnavigations. With its impressive 30-ton displacement, this schooner offers stability and durability that will exceed your expectations!

Accommodation: Step aboard and discover the spacious and comfortable living quarters of this yacht. With full headroom throughout, you'll enjoy the freedom to move and relax. The accommodation features 8 bunks in 3 separate cabins, ensuring ample space for you and your crew.

Starting aft, the master cabin boasts a luxurious queen bed and a sitting area, providing a peaceful retreat. The dressing area with a mirror and 4 cupboards offers convenient storage for your belongings. Adjacent to the master cabin, you'll find an aft head with a shower, sink, and composting head.

The laundry/fridge area is equipped with a fridge/freezer, chest freezer, pantry, washing machine, and microwave for all your needs. The large galley includes a double sink, 4-burner stove with an oven, and numerous cupboards, perfect for preparing delicious meals. The navigation station features a desk and cupboards for easy chart plotting and communication.

A social hub onboard, the spacious galley with a table and sitting area is complemented by many cupboards and a 32" smart TV for entertainment. The midships cabin provides 2 comfortable bunks, a smart TV, hanging locker, mirror, and additional cupboards. The forward head features a shower, sink, and composting head. Lastly, the forward cabin accommodates 4 bunks, 2 hanging lockers, a mirror, and ample storage space.

Deck Storage: This schooner offers generous deck storage options to keep your equipment organized. The large aft lazarette with shelves provides ample space for storing your belongings. The forward anchor locker includes storage shelves for lines and fenders, and it can accommodate as much chain as you desire. Additionally, there is storage under the cockpit seats for your convenience.

Sailing Systems: The schooner is expertly rigged to optimize your sailing experience. Both double spreader masts are built strong and feature steps all the way up from the deck level, ensuring ease of access. The rigging is made of full Dyneema DUX synthetic standing rigging in a UV-treated polyester sheath, which was newly installed in 2022.

All the running rigging was also replaced in 2022, along with the deck hardware. The sailing systems feature a self-tacking headsail on a furler, allowing for effortless manoeuvring. The mainsail is equipped with a Selden single-line reefing boom for convenient reefing. The schooner is further equipped with Andersen winches for the mainsail and headsail, which can be easily operated from the cockpit.

Exterior: The exterior of this schooner is both beautiful and functional. The two-pack polyurethane finish was newly applied in 2023, ensuring a sleek appearance and enhanced durability. Stainless steel ports in the hull were also newly installed in 2023, providing both aesthetic appeal and increased visibility. The antifoul was renewed in 2023 for optimal performance.

A new composite hardtop over the cockpit, installed in 2022, offers protection from the elements while you enjoy the outdoor space. The deck wash, also new in 2022, ensures easy maintenance. The waist-high stainless railing around the deck enhances safety and provides peace of mind.

Electronics: Equipped with top-of-the-line electronics, this schooner ensures a modern and reliable sailing experience. The Raymarine hydraulic autopilot, i70 instrument, A75 Chart Plotter, wind transducer, depth transducer, and paddle speed + temperature transducer guarantee accurate navigation and enhanced situational awareness. The Raymarine ITC-5 ensures seamless integration of the electronics. Additionally, the boat is fully NMEA2K networked with custom smart automation software and monitoring, allowing for convenient control and monitoring of various systems.

Dinghy: The schooner includes a Smart Wave 3500 dinghy, newly installed on davits in 2022. This dinghy is accompanied by a handheld VHF and a Parsun 5hp outboard, both new in 2022, ensuring reliable transportation and communication. The folding swim platform, installed in 2021, enhances accessibility and enjoyment of the water.

Electrical: Featuring an advanced electrical system, this schooner offers self-sufficiency and efficiency. The 1620W solar panels, networked with Victron Bluetooth controllers and installed in 2021, harness the power of the sun to keep your batteries charged. The impressive 1120Ah 12V LiFePO4 (lithium) battery bank, equipped with a 123\Smart Bluetooth BMS and also new in 2021, provides reliable energy storage. The 12V CANBUS switching system allows you to control all circuits through a touch screen computer, browser, or strategically placed switches throughout the boat.

Communications: Stay connected and informed with the excellent communication systems onboard. The B&G B60-B VHF radio and AIS transponder, along with the B&G H60 handset, were newly installed in 2022, ensuring reliable communication and safety at sea. The schooner features two VHF antennas at the top of the masts for enhanced signal coverage. The Iridium Go Sat Phone + Data with an external antenna, new in 2022, enables reliable satellite communication. The Teltonika RTUX12 dual load-balanced 4G MIMO modems, each with two antennas at the top of the mast, were newly installed in 2022, providing exceptional internet connectivity, even at long distances. Two Mikrotik ceiling access points inside the boat ensure maximum WIFI signal strength.

Ground Tackle: The schooner is equipped with reliable ground tackle to ensure secure anchoring. The Sarca Excel anchor, accompanied by approximately 80 meters of 12mm chain in good condition, guarantees stability and peace of mind. The hydraulic windlass ensures effortless anchoring operations. Several backup anchors are also included for additional security.

Refrigeration: The refrigeration system onboard consists of a Novakool RFU8220 upright 12V refrigerator and freezer, providing ample storage for perishable goods. In addition, a large 12V chest freezer offers extra storage capacity for frozen items.

Propulsion: Powered by a Gardner 5LW engine, with approximately 500 hours since its full rebuild, this schooner ensures reliable and efficient propulsion. The hydraulic pump, newly installed in 2022, enhances the performance of the hydraulic bow thruster, which was newly installed in 2021, providing precise manoeuvrability in tight spaces.

Tankage: This schooner features generous tankage capacity to support your adventures. With approximately 750L of diesel stored in two tanks, you can cruise confidently without worrying about fuel availability. The two water tanks provide a total capacity of approximately 4000L, ensuring an ample supply of fresh water during your journeys. Additionally, the lazarette includes approximately 80L of diesel in jerry cans, and there are approximately 60L of petrol for the dinghy stored in jerry cans on deck.

Safety: Safety is a top priority onboard this schooner. It is equipped with a Viking RescYou Pro 6-person life raft with a >24-hour pack and an EPIRB, both new in recent years, ensuring your safety in case of emergencies. The Ocean Signal MOB1 personal AIS transponder, new in 2022, enhances crew safety by providing automatic identification in man-overboard situations. The schooner is also equipped with all other required safety equipment, including lifejackets, flares, fire extinguishers, and more.
